Sarkodie is reportedly in the United Kingdom where he went for business with his family but cannot return to him home country because of the directive by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
The rapper could not make it back into the country before restrictions were placed on movements in some places and also borders of the country were closed.

Sarkodie is not the first artiste to plead with the government of Ghana to help come back to Ghana. Pappy Kojo who is also stuck in Italy has pleaded to be airlifted to Ghana.
To him, he’s running out of stock of food and would be appreciative of the government if he’s been airlifted back to Ghana.
But the Tourism Minister in responding to him then said it’s impossible for the government to give people preferential treatment in this period when the world is fighting the deadly Coronavirus.
