GhMediaHubWhile firefighters labor around the clock to put out the Kejetia fire, new information is surfacing regarding how the blaze began.
On March 15, 2023, an inferno destroyed sections of the Ashanti regional facility. Merchants who have been touched by the situation are weeping as they try to save as many products as they can.
Several of the victims who collapsed as a result of the smoke were transported to local medical institutions. The market segment under attack is known as ‘Dubai,’ and it sells things such as vehicle tires.
According to the man, he temporarily left his items with the lady in order to buy things from another region. As he returned, he noticed some smoke coming from the trader’s shop.
“The smoke began in the place where she had plugged in the radio. She had so many items placed around the electric outlet.
“She’s in the same lane as the carbide vendors. “When the carbide came into touch with the flames, it exploded,” he continued.
However, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has yet to comment on the cause of the blaze.
