Ebito Bodoung, brother of Ghanaian socialite and actress Moesha Bodoung, has revealed that his sister has suffered a stroke.
In a statement posted on a GoFundMe page established in his name on January 22, 2024, Ebito disclosed the challenging situation Moesha is facing, including the impact on her mobility and speech. He has appealed for public support to cover her medical expenses.
“Hi, I’m Ebito, my sister Moesha Bodoung recently experienced a life-altering stroke, and her journey to recovery has just begun. The impact of stroke on her life has been immense, affecting her mobility, speech, and overall quality of life. But we believe in the power of God, love, support, and community to bring about positive change,” reads part of the statement.
Currently, $570 (equivalent to GH₵ 7,045.20) has been raised out of the $10,000 (GH₵ 123,600) target.
Notable figures like Fella Makafui, wife of rapper Medikal, and skit actress Ahuofe Patri, are among the celebrities actively involved in mobilizing funds for Moesha’s medical care.
