[Video] Fetish Priestess pleads and calms crocodile deity in Nzema

Social media users in Ghana are shocked by a recent incident involving a crocodile that is believed to be a deity.

In a video that emerged on April 4, a woman is seen performing incantations to invoke the crocodile on the bank of a stream.

The community is said to have angered the crocodile by breaking an unknown taboo, and it has retaliated by taking control of their water source.

The crocodile is seen guarding the stream aggressively as the ritual is performed, but eventually retreats into the deep waters after being pacified by the fetish priestess.

The community members then cheer as one of them retrieves water from the stream to symbolize its safety.
