Sarkodie had the crowd at Untamed Empire jumping, singing and dancing as he delivered one of the biggest performances at Leavers’ Party in the Park (LPITP) held on Saturday 18 July 2026. The award winning rapper, also referred to as “The Landlord”, brought the festival to a high point with a powerful performance that had thousands of Senior High School graduates and young adults singing along.
He electrified the crowd with his high-energy set that reached its peak when he broke into his famous signature “Azonto” dance, sending the audience into a frenzy and creating one of the festival’s biggest moments. As Sarkodie showed off his moves on stage, the audience responded with loud cheers, turning the performance into one of the most talked-about moments of the festival.
The leavers’ party, an annual event brought together thousands of SHS graduates and young people from across the country for a day of music, dance, games, food, and opportunities to connect and create lasting memories.
Sarkodie was joined on the lineup by Lali X Lola, Bhadmayors, Enyo Trey, Cojo Rae, Mzdilo, Moon Byni and Highest MC, while DJs Slimbeast and Phantom kept the party going with high-energy mixes.
Organisers also used the platform to promote responsible social engagement, with partner organisations providing health registration services and educating attendees on drug abuse prevention, sexual and reproductive health, and informed decision-making as young people transition into adulthood.
The event was powered by GLE Connect and High School Clique, in collaboration with The Plug and The Noldor Hub, with support from partners including the Ghana Health Service and the National Youth Authority.
Now established as one of Ghana’s biggest youth celebrations, Leavers’ Party in the Park continues to combine entertainment, youth culture, networking and public education in a vibrant festival atmosphere.
