Former coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah says no player in the team is richer than him and therefore will not stoop so low to take money from any of them before call-ups.
There’s widespread information that seeks to suggests that some National team coaches take monies and other material things from players in order to select them for competitive games
But speaking in an interview on Angel TV monitored by MyNewsGh,com, the former coach said he never demanded anything from the players he worked with.
“No Black star player is richer than me so I will never ask a player to buy me a watch, shirt etc. I command respect.” He emphasized.
On the new appointment, he mentioned that CK Akonnor came for his counsel so he will provide him with the needed support he deserves.
