Mahama lost 2016 elections because of Atta Mills ‘Ghost’ – Akua Donkor

Founder and Leader of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor says former President, John Dramani Mahama lost the 2016 elections because of the ghost of the late Evans Atta Mills.

According to her, although John Mahama did impressive works in the Central Region, the region failed to honour him with their votes because of the alleged claims that he killed Atta Mills.

She said, “Mahama was impressive with his development agenda of the Central Region but he did not win the election there and many other places because of the allegation that he killed former President Atta Mills.”

She added f “those in your party who lied about you and made you lose votes are still there so if you’re going to seek for re-election do you think you can make it? What are you going to get from going for reelection? It’s just the money they are making you waste. Today it’s unity walk, tomorrow something else. It’s a waste of money.”

John Mahama in her view, has been turned into a laughing stock because he does not heed advice from people like her, advising him to desist from the things he’s doing in order to pave way for the smooth running of the country and the 2020 electoral process.
