Covid19 started as a big blow to most churches as revenue streams were cut-off due to certain announcements made by the ruling Government to restrict their activities.
In that light, several churches setup various means to close the gap created to restore the daily church service earnings using direct bank transfers, mobile money transfers and some other form of consultations forgetting that their members were in crisis due to a global pandemic.
This pandemic has caused several giants to fall; a virus whose name is common to everyone on this planet earth.
Religious bodies after detailed updates received from the communications ministry and media houses home and abroad have made compassionate attempts to reach out to their member and come to their aid in these trying times.
Even though its not new to do; we commend the church for expressing this deep sense of compassion and care for the needy in society.
