GhMediaHubH.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said that the government will base on outcomes from this week’s contact tracing to whether or not extend the lockdown restrictions stipulated areas.
He said the decision will be based primarily on the results of the over 19,000 tests that have been conducted due to the enhanced contact tracing exercise.
He further added that 15,385 out of 19,276 contact persons had been reached through the enhanced contact tracing and their samples have been taken.
“[This] will determine our future terms of action,” he emphasized.
The partial lockdown was declared in Accra, Tema, Kasoa and Kumasi effective 1 am on Monday, March 30, 2020 by the President of the Republic
