GhMediaHubDeputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwaku Boahen has described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a sinner and as such says God does not listen to characters like him.
President Akufo-Addo on March 19, 2020, led a breakfast prayer meeting with some key leaders of the Christian community at the Jubilee House to pray against the spread of novel coronavirus.
The church leaders took turns to pray for the President, government, health workers, those who have been infected and also for the world to find an antidote to it among other things.
On Thursday morning, the country confirmed its ninth case of the novel coronavirus.
According to Kwaku Boahen, the numbers of the virus keeping increasing because the leader of the prayer did call for the prayers with good intentions.
When asked by the host if the leader with the bad intentions he is talking about is President Akufo-Addo, he boldly replied yes and added that is the reason God rejected our prayers.
“…When the pastors started praying the numbers of the virus increased…it is even in the bible that God is not impressed with the prayers of a sinner maybe the leader was not having good intentions for the prayers he called for and that is why the numbers keep increasing”, he said on UTV.
Ghana has now recorded 2,719 cases of COVID-19 and 65 additional recoveries making a total of 294, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
