Singer Sefa has said that connections and good music have helped some Ghanaian musicians to take their music across the borders of Ghana.
According to her, it’s mostly about getting to know people in these countries who can promote your music and you will have a breakthrough in the international market.
Sefa noted that you can even have the wackest song but your ability to network with the right people outside of Ghana will put you at a vantage point and will help you to get your breakthrough internationally.
The Black Avenue Musik signee made these comments in an interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown on UTV’s United Showbiz.
“The International market most Ghanaians penetrate is not about how good you’re but it’s about who you know out there. It’s about your plugs because you can have the wackest song but if you know the right people you will be able to break into the international market. So it’s not about artistes no having a vision beyond Ghana.”
