Erstwhile Management Member at Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Gyambibi Coker, has said he would be willing to return to the Porcupine warriors to serve in any capacity.
The Immediate-Past General Manager lost his role after the dissolution of Kotoko’s management team last week.
In an interview with Class 91.3 FM, Nana Gyambibi Coker revealed that he is available for a new role in the newly constituted 9-member Board.
“It will always be a great development for me. It wouldn’t be something that I will say no to. It is always a great honour to serve the Golden Stool. It takes several forms to do so. One has to be getting the opportunity to serve through Kumasi Asante Kotoko. So, if I am asked to return to come and serve Kumasi Asante Kotoko, why not? I will never say no to that call”.
Nana Gyambibi Coker also indicated that he is not surprised by the Executive Board’s decision to break up the old management committee led by George Amoako.
“Personally, I knew was going to happen. Once there has been a new board, it’s appropriate that the management is taken out so that they begin on a fresh note, for them to be able to fully control the affairs of the club. For me, it wasn’t a surprise at all.
