Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has disclosed that Shatta Wale and Beyonce’s collaboration was the biggest music fest that happened to the country but Ghanaians refused to take advantage of it.
He indicated that the feature was so big to the extent that it could have exposed many artists to the international market but unfortunately Ghanaians ignored it.
He stated that the pull him down attitude of Ghanaians has been the prime agenda hurting the music industry as he compared how Nigerians project only positive images of their industry frontlines and bash them in the eyes of nobody.
Sarkodie, born Micheal Owusu Addo emphasized that Ghanaians could have push Shatta Wale and Beyonce’s collaboration but they rather fault the song and this was talked about on both social and traditional media.
The rapper explained how he lost a valuable relationship because of the negative issues social media users decided to talk about the work he did with an international artiste.
