GhMediaHubGhanaian Football Legend, Ibrahim Sunday has charged former Black Stars players to support the current team with their expertise ahead of Qatar 2022.
According to the 1971 African Footballer of the Year, Ghana can be successful at the world cup when the legends back the Senior National Team.
“Whatever we have or we know to do to help the Black Stars do well at the World Cup, as individuals and groups, we have to do it. So that in the end, we all give thanks to the Almighty.”
“They [Black Stars] are going to make it “Insha Allah”. But they cannot make it without our support. So we need everyone’s support.”
Ibrahim Sunday was involved in a pre-world cup activity to rally support for the Black Stars.
Ghana is returning to the tournament for the first time since 2014.
Otto Addo’s team will kick off her world cup in Qatar against Portugal on November 24, 2022.
