Malawi urges 14 days of mourning after the damage caused by Cyclone.
Malawi has proclaimed 14 days of mourning following Cyclone Freddy. More than 350,000 Malawians have been uprooted. After record rainfall, large boulders carried by floodwaters from hillsides toppled on homes and businesses. Several makeshift houses were also unable to survive the floodwaters. For the victims of the tragedy, temporary shelters have been erected.
