The actor, who is known for his humorous skits, was recently in the news for narrowly avoiding a mobile money fraud attempt.
The incident took place on set while Dr Likee and his team were preparing to shoot one of their skits.
During the production, the actor received a phone call from a strange number claiming that he had mistakenly sent money to him. However, Dr Likee, who suspected it could be a fraudster, probed further.
During the interrogation, the fraudster realized that the victim was his celebrity crush. This realization led to the fraudster getting star-struck, and the phone conversation turned into a hearty chat.
While the incident may have ended on a positive note, it highlights the importance of being vigilant and cautious when it comes to mobile money transactions. Mobile money fraud has become a widespread issue in Ghana, with many unsuspecting individuals falling prey to the scams.
