Ken Ohene Agyapong, an aspiring flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a donation of a brand new pick-up vehicle to the party.
The purpose of the donation is to support the NPP’s campaign activities in the Kumawu Constituency for an upcoming by-election.
The vehicle was presented to NPP officials at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra on May 9. Mr. Agyapong, who is also a lawmaker for Assin Central, stated that his contribution aims to strengthen the party in the constituency and ensure victory in the upcoming by-election.
The by-election is scheduled for May 23, following the passing of the former Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency, Philip Basoah.
The Electoral Commission has announced the vacant seat and will conduct the election in accordance with the constitution.
