A 25-year-old unemployed woman named Queenstabel Mintah, also known as Ohemaa, has been sentenced to two months in prison by the Tarkwa District Court for her involvement in the theft of GH¢4,600 from a small-scale miner. The presiding judge, Charles Owusu Ansah, also ordered her to pay a fine of GH¢1,080. In the event of defaulting on the fine, she would serve an additional four months in prison.
