Nigerian singer Davido expressed his delight after receiving a Rolex wristwatch gift from Atletico Madrid player Memphis Depay.
According to reports, the striker presented Davido with a multi-million naira Rolex wristwatch following his performance at Depay’s 30th birthday party.
Confirming the gesture via his Instagram story, Davido mentioned that it was a rare occurrence for him to receive a gift, despite having received cash gifts from several Nigerian celebrities during his previous birthdays, which he later donated to charity.
The singer also emphasized that he typically takes on the role of giving gifts to others. In his Instagram post, he expressed his gratitude to Memphis Depay, stating, “N*gga bought me a Rolex on his own birthday! I never receive gifts, I’ve always been the one to gift people. I love and appreciate you @memphisdepay.”
