Nigerian musician Davido has extended an invitation to American rapper Kanye West to join him at Puma, following West’s public criticism of Adidas on social media.
West had expressed frustration with Adidas for selling a Yeezy design without his approval and for allegedly exploiting his loyal fan base, despite terminating their collaboration in 2022 due to a series of antisemitic remarks.
In response to West’s grievances, Davido, who serves as a global ambassador for Adidas competitor Puma, suggested that West consider partnering with Puma instead.
“Come to @puma Ye @kanyewest,” Davido wrote on his Instagram story.
