GHMediaHubBlack Stars winger, Osman Bukari, has expressed his excitement once again about his move from Red Star Belgrade to Austin FC.
He expressed his excitement about the transfer when he was officially unveiled as an Austin FC player on his arrival at the team’s facility to meet with his new teammates and coaches.
After getting a carnival-esque welcome to Austin FC by fans of the club, Bukari, who joined the MLS side on a three and a half year deal earlier this year stated, (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“Can’t wait to play in front of these amazing fans and in this beautiful city. From the streets of Kwahu Mamfe, Ghana to Austin, Texas. Alhamdullilah for everything” he wrote on his X (former Twitter) page.
Bukari’s sealed transfer to Austin was announced in the lead up to Ghana Black Stars 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic (C.A.R.)
Ghana beat Mali 2-1 in Bamako and beat C.A.R. 4-3 at the Baba Yara Stadium to move up to second in Group I standings. The group winner qualifies to the next World that will be co-hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico.
Bukari has played at the FIFA World Cup after featuring and scoring at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
