CHIVIDO 2024: Davido laments, ‘Money I took home didn’t tally with amount sprayed’

Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, expressed his disappointment that the money sprayed at his lavish wedding to Chioma on June 25, 2024, did not match the amount they took home. The wedding, which saw dignitaries from various sectors in attendance, featured many guests spraying dollar bills due to Nigeria’s laws against mutilating the Naira.

Davido commented under a video showing guests spraying money at his wedding, saying, “The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no dey tally.” This suggests that despite the impressive display of wealth at the event, the actual cash collected by the couple was significantly less than expected.
