Simi expressed her desire for listeners to remember why they fell in love with her music, highlighting the heartfelt nature of this album.

She emphasized the importance of sacrifices in successful relationships and mentioned her decision to tone down her “savage” presence on Twitter. Additionally, she recently achieved a lifelong dream by collaborating with the legendary Ebenezer Obey.
Discussing her artistic approach, Simi said, “Most of my songs are for the audience. I’m an artist and I tell stories. I love telling stories and painting pictures because I feel like people can see themselves in them. It just feels real, and I use lots of pidgin in my songs.”
