Destiny Etiko denies rumors that Omotola Jalade’s husband bought her a car.

Nigerian actress Destiny Etiko has firmly dismissed rumors that Captain Matthew Ekeinde, the husband of fellow actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, bought her a car. In a recent video, Etiko addressed the speculation, asserting her independence and proudly declaring herself as self-made. She emphasized that the photo of her with Captain Ekeinde, which fueled the rumors, was taken four years ago during a flight where he was the pilot. They had not met since that encounter.

Etiko expressed frustration with her critics, accusing them of being bitter and attempting to tarnish her reputation. She also urged people to stop dragging Omotola, her husband, and their son into the baseless rumors. She made it clear that most of her achievements were earned through her own hard work, adding that she enjoys buying new cars for herself, particularly around her birthdays.

In her response, she stated, “The last I checked, 99.9 percent of what I’ve achieved in my life I freaking did it myself with my full chest.” She further explained that the photo in question was simply a snapshot taken during a flight, where Captain Ekeinde asked about the commotion and was informed that she was an actress.
