After the release of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nominees, some Ghanaians believes highlife musician, Kuami Eugene does not deserve to be nominated in the VGMA Artise of the Year category.
According to them, Kuami Eugene didn’t work hard last year hence VGMA should pull down his name.
However, Kuami has frowned over such claims that he is unfit for such position.
In an interview with Doreen Avio on JOY News, the artiste said;
” I don’t agree with people who say I don’t deserve to be nominated in the Artiste of the Year category. I deserved to be nominated and i would be glad if i win it as well. Last year, i had two of the biggest songs; Obiaato and Ohemaa, and i played loads of shows”
He added that; “With all the works I did, and people still say I don’t deserve to be nominated and even win the Artiste of the Year. He bemoaned.
