Ghana Education Service (GES) has in collaboration with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation(GBC) through a special initiative by the Ministry of Communications has launched the GL TV for students and is currently under test transmission.
The GL TV is a free to air channel aimed to line up educational programmes for pupils from lower primary through to the senior high level.
Parents are urged to rescan their digital box to have access to the GL TV.
After a successful rescan, the educative channel will appear next to GTV or GBC News depending on your signal strength.
The GES is expected to produce educational materials for the GBC to broadcast nationwide on a free-to-air channel for the purpose of learning for students while they are home.
Parents are further advised to get their wards behind the screen to really get the benefits of these investments made by the government.
