GhMediaHubFormer Hearts of Oak captain, Jacob Nettey has expressed worry over how some Ghanaians are roaming about without nose masks in town in the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) as he calls on the Police to arrest such persons.
To curtail the spread of the Covid-19 disease in the country, the government has directed that everybody must wear a nose mask when they step out of their houses to go to town.
Though the directive is being adhered to by many, there are others who also go to town without any nose mask.
Speaking to GTV Sports Plus, Jacob Nettey says all those who are flouting the rules should be arrested by the Police.
“The level of indiscipline in Accra regarding the wearing of masks is alarming. People behave as if there is nothing at stake. I think the police should arrest people who go town with no masks”, the ex-Hearts skipper said.
Ghana’s coronavirus cases as of Wednesday, May 13, 2020, now stand at 5,127 with 492 recoveries and 22 deaths.
