We shall not exchange Bawumia for anyone else – Takoradi MP.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is running for president, and the member of parliament for Takoradi district, Kobby Okyere Darko-Mensah, has reiterated that under no circumstances will the delegates of his community elect another candidate to lead the NPP.

Kobby Okyere Darko-Mensah didn’t hold back when he spoke during Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s visit to the Takoradi Constituency, making it plain that the delegates would not accept anything less.

“Those of us who are dealing with the grassroots and are on the ground understand that Dr. Bawumia is the one who has been concerned about us for all these years. He said, “We won’t trade him for anyone.

He also said that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s selection as the party’s candidate for the 2024 elections was due to other circumstances.

He listed his skill, modesty, integrity, and incorruptibility as contributing qualities.

Dr. Bawumia is a person who is simple to reason with, according to Hon. Kobby Mensah, and this quality endears the vice president to many party members.

‘Dr. Bawumia is someone we can reason with; therefore, I’m urging you,’ he said. ‘He knows the power of power, the power of utilizing energy to uplift people, and the power of management to ensure that Ghana will improve.

On July 23, the Vice President met with Takoradi and Effia Constituencies representatives to kick off his campaign tour in the Western Region.
