Thierry Henry resigns as France Under-21 coach following the team’s Olympic silver medal achievement.

Thierry Henry, the 47-year-old French football legend, has stepped down as the coach of the French Under-21 national team. The announcement was made by the Fédération Française de Football (FFF) on Monday, shortly after Henry’s team lost to Spain in the Olympic final.

The FFF stated that Henry decided to end his contract, which was originally set to run until June 2025, due to personal reasons. Despite his departure, Henry received praise for the team’s performances during the Olympics, which showcased his coaching abilities.

As a player, Henry is celebrated for his illustrious career, including winning the 1998 World Cup with France and becoming the country’s second all-time leading scorer.
