COVID-19: Ghana seeks Divine Intervention as we observe national prayer and fasting today

The people of the Nation Ghana are today, Wednesday, 25 March 2020 observing fasting and praying as part of efforts to bring divinity to humanity to eradicate the covid-19 totally.

This sacred day for national prayer and fasting was declared by the father of the Land, President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Up until now, Ghana has confirmed 53 cases of COVID-19 with two death recorded.

“I urge all of us, also, to seek the face of the Almighty. So, on Wednesday, 25th March 2020, I appeal to all Ghanaians, Christians and Muslims, to observe a national day of fasting and prayer”, the President said in his address to the nation last Saturday “Let us pray to God to protect our nation and save us from this pandemic”, he added.

The President last Thursday, led some Church leaders to pray for God to heal the land while the Vice-President led Muslim leaders last Friday in a similar action.
