I’ll be known for helping Ghanaians ‘see the light’ at 60 – Yvonne Nelson

Actress Yvonne Nelson says by the age sixty years she should be able to make Ghanaians see the light after several decades in the dark.

The actress has been one of the few celebrities who has been critical of governments in the country either past or present.

She is credited for holding the ‘dumsor’ must stop vigil which drummed home the need for government to deal with the electricity crisis which was gradually crippling the economy of Ghana.

Speaking to her followers on Twitter which has become a norm, the actress and movie producer promised that when she’s sixty years, she should be able to pride herself as one of the few who made Ghanaians see the light.

She said she’s been advocating not because she wants to occupy a position of influence but rather she wants to have an impact in the lives of Ghanaians.

She replied to Asante Kwame@KAsante9000·1 who asked “Have u ever thought of becoming an MP or minister in future??? “saying Just helping. Not bothered about the titles”.

Another fan also asked “What do you hope to have achieved by the time you are 60years?” she replied “To Help Ghanaians see the light”.

The actress spoke about other things including giving birth to three children and the fact that if she falls in love with a Nigerian she will settle with the individual regardless of her experience with Nigerian men.
