Andre Ayew IGNORED as Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan names his all-time Black Stars XI

Ghana’s all-time leading top scorer Asamoah Gyan has named his all-time Black Stars eleven.

The former Sunderland striker, is the four time African champions’ all-time leading scorer with 51 goals.

Gyan who is the only African player with more goals (6) in the FIFA World Cup based on his selection on players that he played with in the national team.

Abedi Ayew Pele who is three times African footballer of the year was the only player not part of the Asamoah Gyan who made the list.

However, Abedi Pele’s son who currently is the captain of the Black Stars team couldn’t earn a spot in Gyan’s all-time strong XI.

In a 4-4-1-1 formation, the NorthEast United goal machine in an interview with Pulse Sports named goalkeeper Richard Kingston in post with John Painstil and Hans Adu Sarpei playing the right-back and left-back positions respectively.

He also picked former Bayern Munich star Samuel Osei Kuffour and John Mensah to pair in central defense.

His midfield combination, were Micheal Essien, Laryea Kingston, Stephen Appiah and Sulley Muntari.

Gyan paired himself with arguably Ghana’s all-time best footballer Abedi Pele upfront to bag in the goals.
