Songstress, Wendy Shay has hit back at her colleague, Fantana for describing her as “higher local champion” in what appears to be a seeming cold war between the two on the same record label.
Fantana in an interview on GHOne TB said Ghana has only three Internationally acclaimed female musicians which include Becca, Efya and Wiyaala.
According to her, the likes of Wendy Shay are higher local champions who need to work extra hard to put their naes out there.
This seem not to have sat well with Wendy Shy who has replied her in similar fold.
To Wendy Shay, Fantana needs to also learn how to produce hit songs so she can benefit from music like she is benefiting currently.
She said “Some artiste can create news but can’t create hit songs Ask how much Betplanet paid me”.
