Stop heightening tension between Patience Nyarko and Joe Mettle – Philipa Baafi warns Abeiku Santana

Philanthropist and gospel artiste, Philipa Baafi has called for a ceasefire in the seeming tensions between her colleague gospel artistes, Patience Nyarko and Joe Mettle.

She has warned all those who continue to make statements which seem to heighten or stoke more fire into the issue to desist and rather find an amicable solution to the matter.

Seasoned radio broadcast journalist, Abeiku Santana during his drive time show recently referred to Patience Nyarko as someone who has allowed herself to be used by Satan to destroy Joe Mettle musically.

Speaking to Amansan Krakye in an exclusive interview on GBC Radio Central in Cape Coast monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Philipa Baafi shared her opinion on the statement made by Abeiku Santana.

She said “Please as for me there are certain things that personally I don’t entertain. It is a misunderstanding that has ensued between two siblings in the Lord.

“Patience Nyarko and Joe Mettle both are gospel artistes but I don’t know what the whole seeming tension is about. What I can say is that if there is bad blood between them I will call on the elders to amicably settle the matter very quickly. 

“We are humans so we shouldn’t retaliate if someone should offend you in anyway. Whatever has happened I call for a ceasefire because the counter attacks won’t help solve the matter.

“That’s why we all need to seek forgiveness from one another. At the end of the day our aim is that the songs we sing should bring honour and adoration to God that’s all”.
