We expected Shatta Wale to groom us and not to condemn our work – Militants

Expelled Shatta Movement (SM) Militants have expressed great displeasure about how their boss Shatta Wale sacked them for not doing well with the record label while publicly describing them as ‘lazy’.

Speaking on Kantanka TV with Mona Gucci monitored by mynewsgh.com,  Addi Self and Natty Lee, Addi self categorically stated that,  “I believe we were there to learn and the same way to grow up to be trained on a lot of stuff. So if we bring out songs and you feel there are some ingredients to add, just teach us. That is how a teacher does it. Do this or add that, that is what I expect so that we can be putting it put there”.

According to Natty Lee and Addi Self their songs at Shatta Movement did not make it to the main stream because their boss Shatta Wale hardly promoted their work especially when he is not featured on a song.

The two in the interview also revealed that, Shatta Wale frequently rubbished almost all songs they made, adding that the habit of rejecting their work frequently discouraged them.

Charles Nii Armah Mensah known as Shatta Wale broke up with his signees Militant early this year.

According to him, he sacked the Militants – made up of Joint 77, Natty Lee, Addi Self and Captan – because they are lazy, talentless, bad investment and can’t write good songs.

Shatta Wale has however blamed Addi Self of ganging up with the rest of the Militant against him.

He also described his boys Militant are ungrateful beings.

But the Militants in their discussion hinted that, they will forever be members of the SM movement whiles Shatta Wale remain their “father”.
