Dede, Kudus, Awako nominated for Footballer of the Year at Ghana Football Awards 2021 [Full List Of Nominees]

Three Black Stars players, Andre Ayew, Kudus Mohammed, and Gladson Awako will headline this year’s edition of the Ghana Football Awards scheduled for Saturday, July 3, 2021, at the Grand Arena, Accra.

Accra Great Olympics striker, Gladson Awako was the only local-based player who was also nominated for the same category.

The season that just ended saw Dede Ayew help Swansea City qualify for the playoffs by contributing 18 goals but failed to gain promotion into the Premier League when they are beaten by Brentford at Wembley.

Kudus Mohammed also helped Ajax with the Eredivisie while Awako has also been the key man helping Accra Great Olympics rediscover itself.
