It’s my time; I would break down if my contract is terminated – S3Fa

Ghanaian singer S3fa has spoken about her journey to fame and what it means to be recognized after years of hard work.

In a video making rounds on social media, S3fa disclosed how good it feels that people appreciate her music.

“I just feel this is my time. Then I was doing amazing, and I was still working hard. But if God has not said it’s your time, it will never be your time. I can go to villages. I have performed in villages; Kintampo, Techiman and the rest, and they sing my songs. The ‘Odoyewu’, the ‘Pepper’, all those songs.

In Accra, people know me for those songs, but they just weren’t paying attention. I just feel like now there has been a lot of attention on me because this is my time. And I am just living in the moment.

According to the songstress, this year has been a huge blessing to her music career. She described this as God buttering her bread with butter, jam, groundnut, in fact, all the works. And when asked what her reaction would be if her record label decides to terminate her contract.

“I would just cry on national TV. Everybody will see me cry. I don’t think I am emotional. I think I am very cautious of myself. I am trying to build a sort of brand and persona whereby it doesn’t seem that I am too vulnerable to people. So I stay off things that would create a backlash. So for people to just laugh at ne for no reason, I won’t involve myself.”
