Award-winning Ghanaian rap artiste, Michael Owusu Addo, widely known as Sarkodie has finally reacted to claims being speculated on social media about his stinginess or reluctance to give back to his fans.

Sarkodie on numerous occasions has been tagged as the stingiest musician in Ghana, The musician’s reluctance to give back to the society after gaining so much earned him the title of the stingiest musician in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with #PodcastAndChill, the “No Pressure” crooner intimated that Africans are fond of loving people who mostly show off and demonstrate kindness towards people when cameras are placed on them.

He lamented that in situations whereby someone gives out money in front of cameras with bad intentions, society interprets that to be good and would love such a person irrespective of the ulterior motive behind their sudden generosity.

The SarkCess Music boss insinuated that he prefers to genuinely give out money to his fans behind cameras rather than showcase it to the entire world.

He said that whenever he is being approached by his fans to give them money, he would prefer to snub them and drive to his destination rather than dash out money because he dislikes the idea of doing good for the cameras just to earn praises on social media.
