GhMediaHubUsers of Mobile Money have been unable to conduct transactions since Sunday, March 12, 2023, in the morning.
Consumers have been having trouble utilizing the USSD code (*170#) to conduct transactions using mobile money.
Nevertheless, the telecommunications provider MTN Ghana has acknowledged that the situation is the result of certain technical difficulties and has asked consumers to utilize its mobile app to complete transactions.
“Our technical staff are attempting to fix the problems. We genuinely regret the inconvenience,” MTN stated in a circular on Sunday.
As this has been going on, several MTN customers have gone to social media to voice their disappointment and sentiment over the technical issue, which has been going on for too long a time.
