GhMediaHubChief One, also known as Michael Ivan Nyagamagu in the entertainment industry, has expressed disappointment with his recent performance at the VGMA Xperience concert in HO, the capital of the Volta Region.
During an interview on “The Road to VGMA Show” segment of TV3 New Day, the Ghanaian Hiphop/Hiplife artiste stated that he was dissatisfied with the timing of his performance and the size of the audience.
He believes that many people missed his performance because he went on stage at only 9:30 PM, which is earlier than his usual time of 2 or 3 AM, and sometimes he performs until 6 AM.
Although Chief One has been nominated for the Best New Artiste Category at the upcoming VGMA, he feels that he could have done better for his hometown fans.
Despite his songs WOTELEWOEA and Toyota gaining significant airplay and streams, Chief One remains grounded and aims to launch his music globally in the future.
