Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has expressed his joy over the declaration of March 2nd as his day in the city of Boston, Massachusetts, United States.
The Boston City Council honored Burna Boy with his own day in recognition of his performances and advocacy efforts.
During his ‘I Told Them’ tour in Boston, Burna Boy was presented with a plaque by the Boston City Council.
Sharing a photo of himself holding the plaque onstage, Burna Boy expressed his gratitude, stating: “I feel incredibly honored and privileged! Thank you Boston! The goal has always been the same, to bring the world together. We are all so different but all the same! 2nd of March a.k.a Burna Boy Day.”
