No Nomination for Ghana at 2024 BET Awards: Check Out the Full List of Nominations

Accra, Ghana – Ghana has been conspicuously absent from the nomination list for the 2024 BET Awards, scheduled to take place later this year. This comes as a disappointment following Black Sherif’s triumph last year, where he raised the flag of Ghana high by winning the Best International Flow award at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2023.

In contrast, Nigeria continues to shine on the international stage with seven artists securing nominations across various categories. The Nigerian nominees are Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Tems, Asake, Seyi Vibez, Davido, and Lojay, with Ayra Starr leading the pack with three nominations. Burna Boy and Tems follow closely with two nominations each.

South African singer Tyla emerged as the African artist with the highest number of nominations, receiving four nods. Overall, Drake dominates the 2024 BET Awards nominations with seven, followed by Nicki Minaj, who garnered six nominations.
