GHMediaHubBlack Stars goalkeeper trainer, Fatau Dauda, has raved about Black Stars head coach Otto Addo’s abilities beyond coaching.
Dauda, who serves under Otto in the latter’s second run with the Black Stars as head coach, said this in an interview after making an appearance at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards.
The former Enyimba FC player spoke extensively on the Black Stars in the wake of back to back wins over Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana beat Mali 2-1 in Bamako and Central African Republic 4-3 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasito move to second place in Group I standings.
“We are trying our best to make things happen because things should be better but it takes time. The games we played are over, the games ahead are very important. He (Otto Addo) always wants to share ideas with the technical team.”
“He always makes sure we align with each other…he’s a manager, he knows how to manage players not only coaching.”
Dauda has made the transition into coaching after a playing career highlighted by competing in the 2014 FIFA World Cup ended.
