The rankings reflect a busy month in football, with Argentina defeating Colombia to win the Copa América and Spain triumphing over England in the European Championship final.
England moved up to fourth place, overtaking Brazil, whose performance in the Copa América was less impressive. Venezuela, who reached the Copa América quarter-finals, saw the most significant improvement, jumping 17 places to 37th. Meanwhile, Turkey, quarter-finalists in the Euros, rose 16 places to 26th.
