GhMediaHubSurprising football news has emerged, revealing that Senegal forward Sadio Mane is leaving Bayern Munich to join the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. This move provides him with a unique opportunity to play alongside the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mane, who struggled to find his form in Germany after moving from Liverpool, managed to score only 12 goals in 38 games during his underwhelming season with Bayern. Recent reports of a physical altercation between Mane and Leroy Sane in the Manchester City dressing room after a Champions League match in April may have played a part in his decision to leave.
The transfer marks a significant financial gain for Bayern, as they reportedly recouped a substantial portion of the £35 million they paid Liverpool for Mane just a year ago.
Thomas Tuchel, the Bayern manager, confirmed Mane’s departure and stated that both parties agreed it was the best solution for the current situation. Despite the challenges, Tuchel emphasized that he has always maintained a strong relationship with Mane.
Al-Nassr has been assembling an impressive squad, having signed Cristiano Ronaldo in December, and subsequently adding notable players such as Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Brazil full-back Alex Telles, and Ivory Coast midfielder Seko Fofana.
