Coronavirus: Reduce the number of passengers in public transports – K Lover writes

Fellow Ghanaians, I can’t do this alone so let’s come together as one people, appeal to government to take drastic measures at reducing the number of passengers carried by vehicles across the country as soon as possible.

My heart keeps beating so fast like a jet fighter’s action so far as the rapid spread of the deadly coronavirus is Concerned.

Health experts have urged all to keep a distance of at least two meters from a person with fever, cough, sneezing and difficulty breathing.

This is one of the factors as a citizen I suggest we shd all take into considerations, the reason being that, we easily get closer through Transport means.

My first time I experienced sprinter bus from Nkawkaw to Accra, I asked myself so many questions if government has figured out what passengers go through whenever they use such vehicles.

There is no enough space for passengers to feel comfortable which is a threat to our lives so far as the coronavirus is Concerned.

Let’s take a taxi for instance where passengers who do not have enough money to board one, three persons at the back and one person at the front making 5 persons including the driver, which I think something must be done immediately so far as preventing the deadly coronavirus is Concerned.

I have experienced so many times where passengers will be coughing on frequent basis without covering the nose/mouth! are we safe if the number of passengers for most of these vehicles is not immediately reduced?

Moreover, Overloading is one of the major factors we must take note as citizens without calling upon government to address the situation.

Drivers will not be happy with my call to reduce the number of passengers in each vehicle but I will plead with them to understand the circumstances surrounding it… to me its one of the greatest weapons in preventing coronavirus.

I love my country so much and I will urge all to bring out more ideas to support government in preventing the virus.

Mr. President H E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo, former Presidents: H E John Dramani Mahama, H E John Agyekum Kuffour, H E Jerry John Rawlings, the Parliament, fellow Ghanaians, ladies and gentlemen let’s take my call into consideration with immediate effects: let’s put politics aside now!

I am Ebenezer Kojo Nyavor (K-Lover), a citizen at Nkawkaw with Agoo fm. Thank you
