Dec polls: Abronye DC’s convoy involved in an accident, 4 persons injured

The convoy of the Bono Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Baffoe also known as Abronye DC has been involved in an accident on the Berekum-Drobo road.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening 29th November 2020 when the regional team was returning from a rally organised at Atuna and Drobo in the Jaman South Constituency as part of operations win all seats in the region.

At Domfete near Berekum an unknown vehicle with registration number GN 4656 Y entered the convoy crashed into the Toyota Hilux belonging to the 2nd Vice Chairperson of the Party, Doris Asoma which caused her car to bumped into that of the Bono Regional Chairman, somersaulting severally, veering off the road and overturning into a ditch thereafter.

The vehicle according to a statement from the party signed by Asare Bediako Seth Director of Communications at the Bono region is damaged beyond repairs.

Meanwhile, the four persons were rushed to Berekum Holy family hospital, treated and have been discharged accordingly.

Members of the party have been entreated to remain calm, resolute and fight until a resounding victory is secured in the December 7th elections.
