UG: Accra City Campus SRC to hold the Maiden Edition of “The Face of the City” Pageant

The Accra City Campus Student Representative Council, SRC of the University of Ghana is set to hold its maiden edition of the Face of the City Pageant on Saturday 3rd September 2022.

The event which was jointly organized by the SRC Women’s Commission and Hype Lens Africa Company Limited will hold at the city campus premises at exactly 5:00 PM.

In an exclusive interview with ghmediahub.com, the Women’s Commissioner, Ms. Grace Quainoo, stated that “Students have the opportunity to showcase and promote women’s empowerment, diversity, intelligence, and leadership in an ever-changing society. The organizers believe women who have participated in several other pageants have been empowered through the platforms in diverse ways including personal and career advancement.”

“It will groom and grant opportunities to participants to air their views on societal issues while giving them the opportunity to curb them.”, she concluded.
