Sources from JoyNews report that on March 20, former Member of Parliament (MP) for Old Tafo Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, passed away at the age of 64.
Dr. Osei was a prominent Ghanaian banker and politician who had served as a Member of Parliament for five terms. He obtained a PhD from Howard University in 1987.
