On Wednesday, June 28, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, paid a visit to areas affected by flooding in the Ellembele District.
The areas visited included Sanzule, Old Bakanta, Atuabo, and Salman. The purpose of the visit was to personally assess the severe impact of the floods caused by recent heavy rains.
During the visit, Buah provided relief items to support the affected residents in dealing with the challenges brought about by the flood.
Additionally, as the Deputy Minority Leader, he assured them that further assistance and support would be provided once a comprehensive assessment of the damage is conducted.
The aim is to help the affected communities recover and restore normalcy in the aftermath of the flooding.
